TAG OVERVIEW
A Tag attribute in Fisikal that can be associated to Content so that associated Applications can read and filter Content by them.
Tags are usually used for organisations that have a connected mobile app. When used in this environment Tags act as a Sub Category in conjunction with Announcement Categories.
Users can manage Tags by going to SETTINGS > TAGS and they will land on the TAG OVERVIEW as shown below:
Here Users can:
- Search for Tags
- Add a new Tag
- Edit an existing Tag
ADD A TAG
To add a new Tag User should select the "+" button on the right of the screen, the form will load and Users will see the following:
- Users should enter a Tag title making sure that it has the correct Capitalisation and showing any full stops of numbers as they would like to show in the app
- Once the title has been correctly entered Users should select CREATE
Once the Tag has been successfully created, Users will land on the Tags Overview page.
Users can create Tags in multiple languages, to add an additional language your Club must have been configured to allow multiple languages which can be done in SETTINGS > CLUB > CLUB. Here Users can configure multiple LOCALES for their site.
When Users create Tags, they should know that Tags are shown in associated Apps in alphabetical order. So if Users want to make sure content shows in the correct order, they may want to add numbers to the Tag such as "Week 1" or "1. Getting Started".
EDIT A TAG
To Edit a Tag, Users should select the EDIT button (pencil icon) next to the title of the Tag. The Edit Tag form will show as follows:
- Users should edit Tag title making sure that it has the correct Capitalisation and showing any full stops of numbers as they would like to show in the app
- Once the title has been correctly edited Users should select UPDATE
If an Announcement has already been associated to a Tag which has changed in any way, they will remain associated to it but will show the new Tag details.
If a Tag is deleted by the User, the Tag is removed from Fisikal and assigned Content will no longer be associated to this Tag. Content will still show on the Users site, it should now be associated to a new Tag for it to show for users.
The image below showcases an Announcement Category (MONTH 4) and associated Tags (WEEK 1 and WEEK 2). When users select a specific Tag (eg WEEK 1) they will see Content that has been associated to MONTH 4 > WEEK 1.
